This recently introduced holiday rental offers high quality accommodation for large families or groups of friends in the Dordogne. Fully renovated in 2006, the property combines historic stone architecture with modern comfort. Located in the heart of the bastide village of Domme, it features extensive walled gardens, panoramic views over the Dordogne Valley, and a private heated swimming pool, while remaining within walking distance of local shops and restaurants.

The main house is accessed via historic stone steps leading to a glazed wooden front door and a long, spotlight-lit corridor displaying original artwork. The living room is spacious and elegant, furnished with comfortable sofas arranged around a stone fireplace, coffee tables, lamps, a flat screen television, and a large dining table seating ten guests. French doors open onto a wisteria-covered terrace for outdoor dining. The large dining kitchen is fully equipped with a side-by-side fridge freezer, oven, dishwasher, coffee machines, toaster, kettle, electric hob with plancha, and a suspended extractor fan. A farmhouse wooden table and benches sit in front of a stone fireplace, and glazed doors provide access to both the front of the house and the rear terrace and garden.

The main house offers four bedrooms on the ground floor. Two bedrooms feature single beds that can be joined to form king size beds and share a bathroom with bath, shower over, and washbasin. A third bedroom also offers convertible single beds and benefits from an en suite shower room. A fourth bedroom with a single bed is accessible from both the hallway and the shower room, making it suitable for a child sleeping close to parents. Two separate toilets are located on this level. The first floor, reached by a wooden staircase, contains a large master bedroom under the eaves with a double bed, a small wrought iron balcony, and an en suite shower room with shower, washbasin, and toilet.

A separate guest house, accessed externally from the courtyard, provides independent accommodation for up to four guests. It includes a kitchenette with fridge and kettle, a double bedroom opening onto a private terrace, a second bedroom with two single beds and ample storage, and a shared bathroom with bath, shower over, washbasin, and toilet.

Additional spaces include a large games room accessible from the sunken terrace, furnished with sofas, table tennis, baby-foot, board games, and books. A vaulted cellar room, also accessed independently, is suitable for wine tasting and incorporates a laundry area with washing machine, tumble dryer, and an additional side-by-side fridge.

A motorway junction is approximately thirty minutes away, just north of Souillac. Bergerac Airport is a little over one hour’s drive. Several golf courses are located in the surrounding area.

The private swimming pool measures 8 m by 4 m, is fenced, secured with an electric cover, and heated from mid-April to mid-October. An exterior shower room with shower, washbasin, and toilet is available. Bed linen and towels are included. Final cleaning is a compulsory charge payable on arrival. Changeover days are flexible throughout the year. A refundable breakage deposit is required, along with booking and tourist taxes.
