From the 3000 meter high glacier where you can ski even in august, to hiking, mountain biking, rafting, canyoning, ballooning. The house is just 3 minutes away from the first ski slopes and the Gstaad Super Ski Region. From the famous Cailler chocolate factory just next to the impressive castle and medieval village of Gruyère, to an amazing day organized in a typical swiss farm with cheese manufacturing and typical swiss diner, with some good surprises waiting for you. We are offering a fully equipped authentic kitchen including special machine to enjoy a Raclette or a Fondue. There is a stunning view, with an outdoor jacuzzi and a fire place and also WIFI, DVD’s and music.

The house is a couple of minutes from the village, the river and slopes. You can enjoy many treks all over the mountains.
4 parking spaces are waiting for you outside the house together with complete private road. It is a very calm and isolated area.
In the village (3 minutes drive) you can get anything you want or need, and the train station there will connect you to any point in Switzerland and Europe.

1. By Car
   If you are driving, you can utilize GPS navigation systems such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze. Simply input the destination as "the chalet" in Rougemont, and the system will provide the most efficient route based on real-time traffic conditions.
   Please be aware that the region is characterized by mountainous terrain, which may result in winding roads. It is advisable to ensure that your vehicle is adequately equipped for winter conditions, especially if you are traveling during colder months.
2. By Train
   The nearest railway station to the chalet is located in Rougemont, which is well-served by the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB).
   For those traveling from larger cities such as Lausanne or Montreux, direct train connections are available. Upon arrival at Rougemont station, a short walk or a taxi can be taken to reach the chalet.
   Timetable information and route planning can be accessed via the SBB website or mobile application.
3. By Bus
   Regional bus services, operated by PostBus (PostAuto), are available for transportation within the Vaud region. While frequency may vary based on time of day and season, local schedules can provide more precise details.
   It is recommended to consult local bus timetables for the closest stop to the chalet.
4. On Foot or By Bicycle
   If you are staying nearby or prefer a more eco-friendly option, walking or cycling could be a viable alternative. Rougemont and the surrounding areas are known for their pedestrian-friendly infrastructure, with well-marked cycling routes for those who prefer to explore the region on two wheels.
